Jared Frye
Frye Farms
Buckner, MO
Stall Location: 89 - 92

Jared Frye has been a fixture at the City Market for many years along with his wife, children, brother Mark, and father Marlin. This year has been a particularly challenging year for the Frye Family when their greenhouse was destroyed by fire. With the help of family, friends and their community they were able to rebuild in time for the Market season.

Although Jared and his family sells assorted produce and bedding plants throughout the summer, Jared’s main staple at the Market is local Missouri peaches. You will find Jared at the Market every Saturday throughout the summer.

Cliff Van Till
Van Till Farms & Rayville Baking Company
Rayville, MO
Stall location: 70 - 71
www.rayvillebaking.com

Rayville Baking Company is known for their wonderful selection of Artisan bakery items all made with varying amounts of whole wheat. Some of their best selling items are crusty European type breads such as sourdough, Ciabatta, baguettes, Danish dough pastries and deep dish pies made with whole wheat crust. All of Rayville Baking Company baked goods are made with organic flours and all natural ingredients.

Cliff and his family have been farming for over twenty years. Their farming history started in California where they ran a dairy business and raised organic almonds and produce. In order to grow their business they began to add “value added” items in 1998 and to sell these items at farmers’ markets. The Van Till’s moved to Missouri in 2001 and built their baking facility in 2006. Cliff is always looking ahead to the future. This summer he started selling his smoked sausage at the Market and hopes to bring his table grapes in the near future.
